Yes, your supplied quote,

is what I was refering to. Even today some lineages of Kriya still refuse to allow organizations in honor of Lahiri Mahashays wishes on the matter.

I have never said that Lahiri Mahashay was opposed to Yoganandas mission. It is my opinion that the formation of SRF has shown to be a mistake in judgement for reasons I have already stated.

While Yogananda was alive he did spread the word of Kriya world wide, of this there is no doubt.

What went on after Satya Charans passing at Sat Lok has little resemblance to the actions of SRF that have been discussed here.

You are aware that the Arya Mission did not become a medium of initiations after Lahiri Mahashay died. That lineage of Panchanon Bhattacharya still survives today, and not as an organized religion or a church with ascended Masters only.

Ketch, please show me where Lahiri Mahashay claimed to be an Avatar.
Please show me where Yukteshwar claimed to be an Avatar. Looking at Lahiri Mahashays diaries reveals a man that was a Yogi and that practiced for years for his realization. The claims came after, maybe to elevate the lineage to the western equivalent of the Christ, which also claims God in human form.

Ketch, do you believe that only SRF has the right to teach Kriya Yoga in the west?
