I was interested that you mentioned speed or strength of swing. I inferred from your post that you swung the club harder for a three iron than you did for a seven iron.

I have never even thought about doing this. I hit every full shot from driver to sand iron HARD. Unless I'm deliberately hitting a half shot.

Why would one actually TRY to swing "less" hard with a full seven iron than a full three iron?
