I totally agree with you because the same thing happened with me. I ordered the set of irons and did'nt think about the SW or LW and just used my old Cleveland wedges. After I got used to the irons and using the same swing with each one my old wedges became a real pain in the butt - no feel, different weights, flex, and club lengths. I ordered the 1 Iron GW,SW,and LW to complete my set of 1 Irons and the difference in my game is phenomenal. If you're going to order these clubs go all the way and get the wedges.

I was hesitant about the length of the 1 Iron wedges since they were the same length as the rest of my 1 Irons and I'd been playing much shorter wedges for the past twenty years. It took awhile for me to get used to them because in my mind I just did'nt trust the longer length. After a little practice I noticed that I'm standing more upright and in a much more comfortable position with the sand and lob wedges and I hit them extremely well - right on target and my distance control has improved dramatically. David Lake's recomendation of not choking down on the wedges has greatly helped my short game. I have'nt hit a skulled or a fat shot since I started playing them and this was always the bane of my previous short game. Excellent wedges!!
