I went with the wood/iron combo set. I can add the 3 & 4 irons later if need be.
My apprehension comes from not knowing anyone with single length clubs, but the concept makes sense to me. The clubs are kinda expensive sight unseen, but one of my golf partners will soon be in his 3rd set of irons in 3 months. The weather in South Carolina allows us to play a lot of golf so I'll know soon if it works for me. I played over 75 times last year and that is while working a full time job. Golf happpiness is important.
I'm hopeful.
