Subject: Right out of the box

I opened the box my new 1 Irons came in at my friends range today. I immediately took the 3-iron out and started hitting the best shots of my life. I never dreamed I'd be able to hit a 3-iron like that after years of not being able to hit anything stronger than a 5-iron. These irons are beautiful and the quality is very high indeed. They swing easy and feel very solid at impact. The ball jumps off the clubface like I've never seen with other irons and they hit about one club farther in distance than I'm used to. I was hitting the 5-iron at the 170 yard marker and the 3-iron at the 190 yard marker with a surprisingly high trajectory. I was able to hit perfectly straight shots or work the ball at will with no problem.

Thank you Mr. Lake for these fine clubs. BTW the customer service is phenomenal.

My experience exactly - I hit them great right out of the box. I can't imagine anybody not being able to hit these irons better than they hit their current set.

I was wondering what the floor to wrist measurement was and how long your 3 iron was on your club set.

My W-T-F is in the 34" range and my #3 iron is the same length as my old #9 iron.
