Subject: First time results using the new 1irons

I wanted to get the 1irons for the past year. I ordered them the first of last week and they came on Friday. Guess what? It started raining about noon and didn't quit until Saturday evening. Today (Sunday) was the first chance to get out even though it was still wet and muddy in places.

From the moment I got the first club in my hand when I opened the package I loved the look and especially the feel. The club just felt "right" and the grips are very comfortable. The lie of the club was perfect too and not at all like my X16 Callaway Steelheads. I have been using them for about 10 years and have never been able to really hit anything less lofted than the 7 iron with any consistency. I just took the 3 and 4 out of the bag and left them home.

Started with the PW and the 5 iron. Even thought the PW is quite a bit longer than my old one, it was really easy to hit and ball contact and results were as if I had been using it for years. Different story with the 5 iron though!

I just automatically tried to swing a lot harder with it. You know what they say...Knew better. Didn't do better!! Next swing was done right and after that hitting all the clubs including the 5 and 7 woods was easy.

Now I have to order the Driver, the 3 and 4 irons and the gap and sand wedge!! These are great golf clubs!
