Subject: The #7 wood is a heaven wood

One thing I haven't seen posted are reviews of the 1 Iron #7 wood. In my opinion it's the best utility or trouble club I've ever hit.

I took it to the range and had my friends hit it to compare to their hybrids (Callaway, Nickent, and the club pro's Bobby Jones hybrid). Everyone of them fell in love with the 1 Iron #7 wood from the very first shot and the club pro placed an order for one that very night.

For me it's a 180 yard club from the fairway and from the cabbage it cuts through everything and gets the ball up and out quickly. I've hit this club hundreds of times and I've never had a miss-hit.

I posted a message about having difficulty with the 3w, but I agree that the 7w is really a great club. I haven't used any hybrids since I had been playing the Toski Tough Shot low profile 3w, 5w, and 7w. On those clubs, the 7w was a real go to club from 180 - 190 and from the rough. I emailed one manufacturer asking about the difference between a low profile 7w (and 5w even) and the hybrids, and they said that if I am happy with the 5 and 7, then the hybrid would not give me any different results.

1 Iron Golf's 7-wood is the best kept secret in the hybrid category. Much more playable than a conventional fairway wood and better performance than any hybrid I've ever hit. If you have trouble hitting a fairway wood, hybrid, or long iron then this is the one for you. I can hit it from any lie and like bigmonja posted you'd have to try to miss hit it.
