Subject: Wintertime workout

Is there anything I can do over the winter months to keep my game sharp? I've been playing 1 Irons for three years and have gone from a 25 handicap down to a 7.

George: in addition to the excellent swing tips offered by Customer Care, you may also want to take a look at the Swing Rite training aid. I personally use one year-round, and a lot of my students also use it. The Swing Rite is the best training aid I've ever used, since it helps you to attain proper "release", create "lag", improve timing and tempo, and helps you really ingrain the feeling of a good golf swing, all without using a ball. I've tried a bunch of the training aids out there, and gave them all away except the Swing Rite. It can be used indoors or in your garage, and 5 minutes a day with it will help you a develop a seriously good, repeatable swing. Hit 'em straight! R2

Although we do not endorse any product we have found the Medicus dual hinge irons and driver to be extremely effective training clubs. These are the only training aids we have found that force the golfer to make the desirable "around the body" swing.
