As a college player and aspiring tour player I've been looking at a set of clubs that will take me there. I've been playing the 1-Irons for two years which are fully conforming for collegiate play but with the groove rule they aren't conforming for the professional tour. I ordered the Pro-Line with the conforming grooves and these are not only conforming but are beyond excellent clubs. I have been completely satisfied with the 1-Iron line of clubs - the workmanship, the precision, balance, and superb fit are beyond anything available in the golf industry. I cannot say enough about this company's customer service and their workmanship is far beyond any other big-name brand. There is no doubt that I will get my tour card and I owe it all to 1-Iron Golf.

I wish you the best of luck and hope you get your card, but the question, begs to be asked? Once you get your card do you think you will continue using the 1irons or will the sponsors support be to over whelming and you will go to standard irons??? I ask this because a certain long driver who used 1irons for a while no longer does, this came directly from his text to me when I asked the question?

I'm guessing you're referring to Jaacob Bowden who played the standard 1-Irons on tour until the groove rule came out. He had to stop playing them on tour at the time but now plays the pro-line. It was him that suggested the pro-line to me.

That's great to know, What is your set make up and are you playing all the 1iron gear or mix and match.?
For example I ended up playing 4-9 1irons then I made PW and SW Wishon wedges .75" shorter for a steeper swing same length.
I also ordered Wishon hybrids a new design for single length just came out so 2 Hybrids same length a Taylor steel head 4 wood and a Taylormade 200 steel at 43.5"
I keep my 1iron driver and woods with my travel set. Any insight from a pro would be great. Best of luck on Tour. David is a stand up guy. When I get the funds I may try the Pro-Line?

I play the 1 Iron driver, #3 wood and the pro-line #3 to LW. The 1 Iron woods have always been groove conforming.

I just purchased some one irons ( I am left handed, and a complete set is not available at this time, nor are the pro-line). I am courious as to your swing speed ( driver and iron) and carry distances on each club. Has there been a change in trajectory, distance, etc with the pro line clubs?
