In 2009 I took Moe Norman single-plane swing lessons from a Graves Brothers Academy instructor named Dave Predzin. He teaches the single-plane swing and he only plays 1 Iron Golf clubs. He recommended them to me and I've been playing 1 Irons ever since using a single-plane swing. I will say that 1 Iron Golf clubs and the single-plane swing are a match made in heaven. I read somewhere on either the old Natural Golf or Graves Brothers forum that Moe Norman played single-length irons his entire competitive career.

Moe tried it at one point and did not use them, but later on he had all his irons lie angle changed to a 6 iron lie angles he took the same grip in the same position in all the irons as you notice in most of the videos he is choking down that gave him the effect of single length golf irons. But they all had different lengths.

Been playing Single axis since the first 1iron design by David, The Graves golf Academy does not recommend them but its probably because they also sell and fit clubs.

Actually, Moe did play single-length irons in his competitive days. When he was older and destitute Natural golf hired him to be their spokesman so he played their clubs but choked down on them to effectively make them the same length like you stated.
