Subject: Gap Droop #3 and#4

With an 80 mph driver swing speed should I be using a #7 and #5 wood instead of #4 and #3 iron. What amount of gap droop would I experience if I used the irons?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

At your swing speed you will notice a much higher trajectory with your fairway woods over your #3 and #4 irons which will result in a farther carry distance. However, if your course is conducive to roll you may see the same or greater overall distance with the lower ball flight of the #3 and #4 irons.
