Subject: Fairway Wood Shafts

I just purchased Blackstone irons and I love them. I'm a 2 handicap and have decided to emulate Bryson and his SPS to create a new challenge at the age of 52. My swing speed is 110 to 112 mph - I had the iron shafts tipped at 3 inches from you guys. Should I leave the fairway shafts alone or do you recommend any tipping on those?

Donn,

I would not recommend any tip-trimming at all with our fairway woods or driver.

David Lake
