As captain of Loughborough Students I would like to put across my view on the email regarding the fact that we shouldnt be in the league. I wanted to point out that the rules are the same for every team, and all clubs are allowed to increase their squads throughout the season if they so wish. Yes, new players have signed on for us since our term has started but this is within the rules. There is constant moaning from other clubs about us, but can we not just stick to playing football?We work really hard and run the club ourselves with little support from the univeristy, and all we want to do is play football. Also, I would like to point out that clubs playing us in the holiday times will not neccesarily have an easy time of it, as in previous years all of us have stayed in Loughborough in order to play the fixtures.
