personally i completely agree with this one: if you're eligble for beginners you should enter if you wish and if others quibble then that's their tough luck coz you're not breaking any 'rules' or being unsportsmanlike. taking the prime example, the reason we didn't pop scott in beginners last year was purely tactical: we didn't want any judges to prejudge our secret weapon. one wonders if entering him into beginners would have actually made any difference: i guess we'll never know!
