Thanks. Praise from the serpent - this could be a year filled with surprises ;o)

Just a slight correction: Cambridge have Anton Du Beck and Erin Boag (4th in International Champs pro rising star) coaching the ballroom side.
There has also been a change in the structure of Cambridge Dancer's Club which has meant the team coaches are actually teaching club lessons and beginners as well. Hopefully the effects of this will be seen this year, but it maybe that Cambridge have a transition year as the coaches are hard at work training up lots of new people.

>Who's gone?

Ben has actually gone ;o)

I think this year could be interesting for the standing committee (or whatever replaces it, if that is up for discussion at the AGM) if, as the Serpent suggests, several couples will need to be released from their home universities and will need their eligibility to be checked.

>They need a new latin A team couple, and
>another new ballroom A team couple.

Done ;o)

We'll give it our best shot, but like I say it may take a while for the new coaches and structure of CDC to have an effect.

1st in A team at IVDA: Oxford or Cardiff. It'll be an interesting one to watch if the new team match format goes ahead.

I hope all your freshers weeks and team trials have gone well. Good luck to all the other universities out there and here's to an exciting and enjoyable 2003-4 dancesport season.

See you on a dancefloor somewhere soon!
