Not all that thought through, what about dress restictions etc....so in practice doubt any of this is workable.

seems to me to be the repechage system would be more advanced version, have first round and take say top 8 from intermediate, put them in adanced for their first round, if they get through they stay, if they are knocked out return to intermediate third round....Everyone gets more rounds, no-one knows what level they should be doing, many won't have right dances to switch levels.......

So in short, longer more complicated, encourages people to try intermediate when they should have done advanced )(someone must get knocked out in first round of advanced....)
