I think that's getting a bit excessive.... you'll end up having even more people in intermediate than before.

I don't think people are worried about going out in the 2nd round in advanced. It's just the thought that you might only dance once, get no marks, and that's it...

I was very happy when I got a recall in the Advanced for the first time, as that's the point where you feel you're actually competing with the top. If those that don't make it get the chance to still dance intermediate, I think it's a good compromise.

Also note that it won't take much extra time. As the people get inserted in the 2nd round of intermediate there is not much extra dancing going on.

If a rule of this sort was in place I would support making everyone enter advanced who has been in an intermediate or mixed-team final in the past or current year. And I can't see why anyone would not want to, at worst you skip the 1st round of intermediates, which must be a good thing :).
