Cambridge intend to propose a contitutional amendment stipulating rules by which competitors must choose which level they enter. They are still working on the wording of it, but the gist is that performance in last year's competition will determine which level people enter this year.
ie Couples making intermediate final this year will be forced to dance up to advanced next year.
The standing committee are to be given powers to force changes in levels or entry if dancers are found to be violating the rules.
Any thoughts? (I have some, which I will post below)
