 Deil's shields flared brightly at Victor's spell hit, throwing him back a couple yards. he rolled, landing in a crouch.

"I'll deal with you in a moment, boy...but there's a matter I must attend to first. In the meantime--"

Without warning, he suddenlt drew his sowd--and threw it towards Victor in a lazy arc. It seemed to float throuth the air, then suddenly it shot towards him under its own power, as quick as a striking snake...

Meanwhile, Deil was already casting the first of a series of spells. The plan was for him, Alex, and Frieza to delay the group as long as possible. Deil would be primarily responsible for defense and support, while alex and Frieza caried out the major atacks. To that end, he first cast Regen on the three of them, allowing them to slowly heal any wounds they might take during the battle. Then, while still watching out for another attack, he began concentrating on his next spell.
