 Vance watched Tetsuo walk away and then turned to face Edward. He laughed lightly, recalling how he came to be here. Being with such a variegated group that he found himself in made him realize how shallow his own people were. "Well, I was running away from the palace guards.. It was my coming of age ceremony and it was revealed that I wasn't a full blood Writer, so I stole another book, and ran out of the castle, seeing as I would have been cast out anyway. I meant to just transport myself to the edge of the Wastelands, but, ah, well, found myself in the middle of a battle with an eight headed dragon instead."
