Nao left for school, as usual. Just another day, she told herself. Nothing's going to jump out of the bushes and eat me, no one's going to try and turn me into a debiru, no one's going to turn the knights into a debiru. It's just a normal day, Nao. Strong emphasis on *normal*. She continued thinking this, and thought she saw Akito in the crowd.
"hey! Akito, wait up!" She yelled and waved.
"Um, I'm right behind you, Nao. You don't have to yell." He said. nao was rather startled, and jumped a couple of feet in the air. She turned around, and saw Akito was standing behind her.
"Is hallucination a side effect of being a knight?"she asked him, trying to sound somewhat calm.
"Um...I don't think so, why?"
"uh, nothing! heh heh. let's go find the rest of the guys, ok?"
"ok."
I'll have to figure this out later, nao thought to herself. All she wanted was a normal day of school. No Debiru or Akuma or Exarus or Zeph. Right now she was perfectly content not fighting anything. but she knew this calm in the storm would not last more than a week. might as well enjoy it, ne? She spotted the new knight in the crowd, and directed Akito's attention in that direction. They caught up wiht her, but they kept a low profile for a while, just to make sure they had the right person...
