That is part of the retention that I push so hard - gotta have an Indian advisor/counselor/mentor/whatever helping them after they are recruited.

again, part of the retention that most schools do not offer.

I went to North Texas - not a crummy school, but no powerhouse. The GRE and LSAT did it for me.

sure - I have students at some of the top colleges around the country - and since many do want to get too far from home, I push UT, A&M, Rice a lot. But if community college is the best I can get them try, that is still a small victory that may lead them onward from there. Better than flipping burgers.

you and I agree on more than we disagree on - same goals, different methods mainly??
