Thanks (((everybody))) for coming 'round; Sunny, Bowdrill and John.

Sunny, you're right; one mustn't forget about the positive things still around. Did you ever see the quote I have in my profile at the main board? ("Það er sorg mín og hamingja að hjartsláttur lífsins heldur fyrir mér vöku" = "It's my sorrow and pain that the heartbeat of life keeps me awake" [Einar Bragi, Icelandic poet].) It's actually a very short poem. To me it means everything has more than just one side; sometimes it hurts to excist and sometimes it's joyful depending on what happens around you or to you.

Bowdrill, the story of the sun and the moon is somehow horrible and beautiful at the same time. It was a very hot summer and the sun shone alot. As I haven't experienced the same things you did lately, I can't ever say I know what it's like, but I do understand your grief is of a much more different kind than the one I and others feel these days. Yours must be much heavier and stronger as you were affected personally. I'm sorry for your loss and pain. I wish things will be ok for you and yours. Hopefully sitting here for a little while will help ease the pain, at least a bit. Shared pain is half pain, shared joy is double joy.

John, nice of you to show up. I always appreciate that. Hm, there's one thing I must change: the correct word for Anna Lindh's profession is "Foreign Minister". (Aaaw, she was so good...) After I checked many foreign newspapers yesterday, I noticed Americans, Canadians and Brits use just one word - Foreign Minister. The dictionary I looked the word up in when I wrote the first note (before surfing newspapers) said many different things depending on what type of English was to be used and there the American was different from the British English. Just another example you don't find all correct answers - or answers at all - in books :)

Have a good weekend, everyone.
