Is your main question whether we feel this way too? Personally, when I talk to non-Indians on these things they often have little idea where I'm coming from so I would find it hard to believe they think they know me that well (and no one has ever stated anything more than they now know more about where I'm coming from...I've never heard one state they know more than I (on that topic))

I don't think I've ever heard my perspective referred to as a cult (and as a personalized spiritual system it would be hard to think of it that way).

And based on the Judeo/Christian model I suspect it can be viewed as supernatural. Superstitian is a view I wouldn't like to hear it described as. But since I'm trying to educate not proselytize I'm not terribly concered about how they think about it (as long as it's more accurate than when I started 80).
