warranty class action. I see the problem as being a long term one. We all agree that a law suit can take years to get to final judgment, right? So the cars could be at 75K+ miles or more by that time. What good is a 100K warranty? Even if the $500 is absolutely the last piece of penny a person will need to pay, why not just put it towards an extended warranty and have the coverage right away as oppose to waiting? Just my 2 cents. I believe the action needs to give the owners an option to return the defective product (the car) to BMW for the original costs that was paid. Otherwise, it is not worth it.
