Lets get a bit of perspective.

He has resigned rather than being pushed and cites his own indifferent form as a reason. You should be happy, as presumably this could prolong his Test career.

It is only One Day cricket, not Tests.

His form has been very poor in this World Cup.

He has made bad decisions this Winter on more than one occassion.

England have not played well in this World Cup at any stage.

If he was Hearts manager, you'd be screaming for his head.

I am choosing to ignore the mollycoddle debate suffice to say I disagree as I view eencouragement as different to mollycoddling.

Still working up a good thirst.
