Nope, not to get him to marry me at all ... we have been engaged forever, but I refuse to marry him while I look the way I do. I should probably post my pictures of trying on wedding gowns; I look like a beached whale ;) LOL We would have rather been married first, of course, & would prefer to be before the next child, but I knew I would be 30 sooner or later & it had been far too many years for us! DF turned 35 this year, so he's been bemoaning his age forever.

DF's cousin is a couple months younger than I; she met a nice guy early summer 2000. We met him at Thanksgiving that year, where it was revealed she was PREGNANT! Her dd was born Aug 2001 & gets to see her father every Saturday b/c they are no longer together, SURPRISE! She'll never admit, but we all talk behind her back (bad, I know) about how she found him, liked his two kids from a previous marriage, & got pregnant. Similar to me in thinking, except that DF & I have been together forever, while she just met someone & got knocked up!

So I (kind of) disagree with that; I really try not to judge people, but it's hard not to! I try to be easy-going, esp since I have a lesbian step-sister w/a longterm girlfriend & they have 2 girls together (cute nieces of mine). BOY I BET YOU GUYS DIDN'T WANT TO KNOW MY WHOLE LIFE STORY, DID YOU?! LOL!

I AGREE w/this Cathy: I see a problem with not being married
>and having, say, three kids with three different
>daddies.
