I think it is great that you have managed to kepp a good relationship with this guy even after you split!!

I have only ever had 3 relationships that I ever considered to be "important" in my life the 1st guy sees my mum all the time and asks everytime "is she still married?" the 2nd guy and I split cause he went and joined the Navy and he decided he would stalk me (no shit I had to file a complaint with the police over it) for the next 3 years everytime he was on leave and the 3rd well I MARRIED HIM!!

So its wonderful you both can still be friends :0)
