so we are back, my ped was a bit conserned about Valeria, he said to keep a close watch on her, and to keep up with only gatorade until tomorrow, ONLY 2 oz 2/hr, nom atter what, bc her intestines are sooo swollen they can contract ( have no idea if this is the right word ) and stopworking bc of over tired, so that's the scary part, but he gave her a shot to avoid any infections, and to call him immediatly if she trows up again, but I think she won't bc she hasn't and I was a bad mommy and gave more than 2 oz ( I thought it was hjust an average, not an order Ħhehe ) so I think we are on the better part. He isn't scared about diarreah, it's the vomiting that scares him. I f she tolerates well the gatorade all day, tomorrow she can have some rice water with half formula, hopefully she will be ok with it, and then in the afternoon she can start with soft things like toast, apples, rice, chicken. If she doesn't tolerate them, we are back to gatorade. fortunatley she is being a good sport about it, and doesn't seem so hungry, she even refuses to drink her gatorade. Her temp went down after some tylenol and a bath, but her cheeks are all flushed, she looks niceĦ She lost some weight, and we still need to get those exams done as soon as I can colect something out of those diapers, jsut to confirm if it's "rotavirus" it's kind of a flu + stomach flu, but it can cause major dehadrition and the intestines to stop working, but thank god, I trully believe she is doing better.
