Grats & hope he does the sippy cup sooner rather than later (w/the milk)! I might be weird, but I give ds his sippy WITH solids, so he can drink when he's thirsty. I know I, personally, would hate to eat & not have water nearby (I'm usu thirsty) so ...

About this ... "let him take as much as he wants out of the cup then bottle it up and give the rest to him that way???" ... I recommend no, only b/c maybe he'll learn if he refuses the sippy, you'll give in w/a bottle? Easier said than done, I know, but...

Boy do I agree with "I dont know this mum stuff is really hard :0)" !!!
