Just wanted to wish you an excelent end to xmas day. I hope Zach and Jacob are doing better, and you girls too. Valeria has been a happy girl, couldn't believe my eyes when she walked thru the door and started walking and laughing, considering that our last trip on October was a real mess, well, now they know the REAL Valeria. She has been doing fine with the soy milk ( I had to change it aftr all ) and eats like a horse. She is so adorable. On the 24th she was dressed up as an angel with feather wings and all for a "show" my fi did. She didn't get to open the presents excpet her little kitchen toy chest that Santa brought her, she loves putting things on the microwave and playing with the pans and pots.
I hope your xmas was as good as mine, I really wish all of you and your kids a healthy year

Well it is now 10:31pm on Christmas day here in Australia and what a lovely day it was for us :0)

Jake woke @ 5am for a bottle and then got sleepy but wanted to be held by me so i snuggled him between Adam and I in our bed....

At 7:30am we awoke all cuddling (what a nice way to start jakey's 1st xmas hey!!) then we took Jake out to open his presents. He was a little overwhelmed bya ll the wrapping etc etc etc but when he found his ride in car and the chocolates in his stocking he was all smiles.

He got tired really qucikly today and was a little miserable but the fever finally broke - we still are only on cows milk but we are working on that too - IT is back to the DR tomorrow if no improvement as im getting worried (also there aint that many spots so I want to ? if it is actually the chicken pox or not)

Overall It was a nice day but next year I have decided that we are going to have lunch out at a restursaunt as I just dont have the energy I used to....

Hope all your days were as nice as ours :0) cant wait to hear about them and see all the pics of the little ones -there were only a few of jake taken as he just wasnt happy most of the day :0(

Sorry to bring the board down but I have to vent....

We all know about my MR spotty....

But then today as I was preparing the xmas feast I cut my thumb open slicing Ham for a platter :0( BLOOD EVERYWHERE and one shook up Mummy....

BUT TO MAKE THINGS WORSE - we got a phone call form my uncle telling us that my cousin (age 24) who has been in remission for leukemia for the past 8 years has been rushed to the hospital it is back and they arent expecting a recovery....

I cannot believe my poor family are going thru this all again this year (for those who dont know my dad passed away last xmas of cancer)...

So please when you say yuor xmas prayers and wishes could you add a new year free of tragedy for my family???

Jake woke last night with a fever of 39C (102.5F) and we gave him some paracetamol and cuddles ntil he went to sleep again but he woke with the fever (although not as bad) so we took him to the DR and guess what.......

HE HAS CHICKEN POX!!!!! He is so ill he can barely keep his eyes open and is just not my happy MR. JakeyB....

Now he is going to have his 1st xmas and 1st Birthday covered in redspots and feeling crappy :0( - MY POOR LITTLE MAN!

OH WELL GUYS I wont be around much now before Xmas so please take care and have a lovely day ok :0) My best wishes to all of you and your families :0) I will be back online soon with pics from our 2 big 1st DAYS (spos and all)!!!

on PO I think we should post all of ours here .......So I'll go first .......

On the 27th of Nov. I had a dr appt at 10:30. So I went in by MYSELF thinking it would be a normal visit . I had been having to go in every week for 6 weeks for preterm labor . well I stop taking my meds on the 20 & still hadn't major pains (or I didn't think there were) I had been 1cm & 80 thinned out since 32 wks . well my dr wasn't there so his NP checked me I came up off the table & was about to hit her .She said she would call him (he was already at the hospital). Well she came back in & said he wanted my to go over there so he could see me & that he was more then likely going to start labor . I was already having the WORST leg pain of my life ...(never knew it could have been labor). So I walked out & called my dh & told him I was headed to the hospital . he was like WHAT!!!! Are you hurting . I told him my dr wanted to check me out & that I was kind of hurting but not really like labor .(I thought it was b/c I had played basketball w/the kids the night before ) I also call my best friend & tell her that I won't be picking up Amber .she was about to go CRAZY . I told her not to worry John was on his way . well as soon as I get there my dr checked me& said I was 4cm & 90% thinned out ..So he wanted to break my watch & start a epl. B/c I was having my tubes tie & if I had it I could go streight in & tie them ...So at 3pm the started doing my epl. & after SIX TRIES he finally got it in at 3:45 so dr broke my watch at 4pm ....Well I was feeling just fine until about 6pm & my right side was hurting ..so at 6:20 they checked me I was still 4cm .....So they turn me on my right side Well at 6:50 the nurse said she wanted to check me b/c she was leaving at 7pm so I saud I bet I'm at 10 w/everyone of my labors I go from 4 to 10 . So ever one stepped out of the room & she checked me & said give me a little push ......she said STOP ........let me get daddy &dr ..So they all come in & I say I feel like I need to push .dr said push ...( he was still getting dressed ) Then he said wait let me clean out the mouth ......Then I give alittle push & Brieanna Madison was born at 7pm. weighting 7 lbs 2 ozs & 19ins long ......not bad for 37 1/2 weeks ...She looked just like her sister Amber & her brother Justin .......

Sorry to yell but I had to let it out. Someone has stolen Devon's gift from his birthday buddy! I have been so busy the last few days getting everything ready for his party tommorrow and haven't checked the mail in a couple of days. Well this morning on my way to the grocery store I checked the mail and there was a postal slip in there that said "Package under grill on side of house" and thats it. No name, no date or time. So I go to the side of the house to see if its there and nothing. I can't believe someone stole a babies first birthday gift. I called the one eight hundred number on the card to see if they could track when the package was delivered and they said they would call back. Can the post office be held responsible in any way? At least his birthday buddy got her present alright. Thanks for letting me vent.

Sorry I haven't been around much this weekend. I got hit with the flu on Saturday. Yesterday was the worst and to top it off, Zack's 4th tooth decided to break through so he was whiney and clingy and the only person he wanted to be with him was me. I was so miserable!!! I just wanted to take a nap and I couldn't do that. He wouldn't nap either, so there was no hope there.

Thank goodness we both are feeling much better today. Hope everyone had a better weekend than we did LOL

I came up with the cutest Idea re: HOW SANTA DELIVERS THE GIFTS AND GETS INTO YOUR HOUSE!!!

Here In Australia not many people have chiminey's so we have to think of a novel way to tell our kids how he gets them gifts under the tree.... My parents always used to say he used his magic and blew in thru the key hold (DUH - How dumb am I for believing that!!)

Anyway I came up with the idea of leaving out a special santa key for him so he could let himself in ;0)

I went to the dollar store up the road and got a wooden key cut out hats for decopage or folk art etc etc etc covered it front and back with red card, decopaged a santa from the wrapping paper we had left over (or you could use a pic from a card) and added some glitter to the edges and Wrote SANTAS MAGIC KEY in Gold pen on the front and tied a big red ribbon on it to hang over the door knob...

Adam and I are planning on making this a huge deal for the kids and get all ceremonious when doing it along with the setting out of milk and cookies for santa to eat and water and carrots for the reindeer Hopefully it will become one of those cherised family moments the kid will look back upon :0).......

Anyway on xmas eve I will take heaps of pics of Jake and the "MAGIC KEY" when it is time to hang it out just to show you girls.....

Im feeling so festive right now :0) My cake is decorated andsitting on my Dining table )it is covered in wedding cake icing so it can be out on display) and my house smells like fruit cake YUMMMMMMMMYYYYYY :0)

Cant wait for the big day :0)

I know I'm posting a little late today, but I have been running around crazy all day. Devon turned one today! We also had his party today since it landed on a Saturday. He had a great time, except for falling down the stairs :(
He had a big knot on his head before he could even eat his cake. I put some birthday pictures on his msn photo album if you wanna check them out. You can see his boo boo on his head. Now if we can just get through christmas without any more accidents. I can't believe he is one already. This year has flown by. Happy birthday to my little guy!!!

OK after reading Cathy's post below I got the feel good fuzzies!!! Then I had a moment of my own so I thought it would be nice if we had a feel good moment of the day thread!!

Here is mine:

We dont have much money left now due to building the house, xmas, jacobs b/day and all the other expenses lately but we did manage to get the money together to buy the materials needed to build a patio area.

Anyway there is only one problem neither Adam nor myself knows how to bulid a patio!!! So my mums friends husband rings us and offers to come and put it up for us!!! FREE OF CHARGE MIND YOU!!! He is doing such a good job and it is looking amazing - Then today after being at work all day during over 100F heat he rings us and says if we are gonna be home e will come work on it a bit more!!! I was speechless - then he tells us he will make sure it is up for xmas day!!!

WHAT A SWEETIE!!! To say thanks we brought him a really nice bottle of whisky and then we got their family a nice xmas hamper and invited them to join us for xmas lunch and they said they would love to come!!

Just makes you realize there are still decent people i this world after all hey :0)

Jacob tried to take a step last night but fell flat on his face :0(

I'm sorry to whine, but I'm gonna - I need to. Zack woke up covered in puke this morning - in his hair and everything. NOT the way I wanted to present him to MIL, who hasn't seen him in quite a few monthsl. So, I toss him in the bath, get him nice and clean and he proceeds to be EXTREMELY clingy to me. Guess he was having a little stranger anxiety since he doesn't remember Grandma probably. Every time I stepped away from him he just sobbed and sobbed. Poor guy. Anyways, he was fine all day today, extra cute for Grandma and super-napper - two long naps.

So tonight, he won't eat much, but he's drinking like a champ (he ate well for breakfast and lunch). Then he barfed. All over the place. This room still smells like puke. Poor little man. And Dave, bless his heart, he cleaned it ALL up while I was cleaning Zack up and changing him. I feel so bad for him cuz he's obviously hungry, but won't eat anything. He had some water after he barfed. He's sleeping now..he crashed before 7.

After cleaning the barf, I went to go balance the check book. I'm so upset, I went upstairs and cried on Dave's shoulder. I forgot to transfer some money over from the savings account and we bounced FIVE transactions. That's $30 a shot for fees. $150.00 down the drain cuz I'm stupid. I'm so upset.

Now, I'm just depressed. I'm stressed and worried Zack's going to barf again and I don't want to go to work tomorrow - I have a file to get ready for trial and I HATE that. At least after tomorrow, I'm off until Thursday.

I was all geared up for a big day chatting to you girlies but I got a phone call and recieved my first client from my leaflets :0)

I had 3 clients today in total and they ALL wanted extra services that meant extra $ for me :0)

I was so so so happy plus one of the ladies brought her 2 children and Jake had a blast playing with them (they were 3 and 10 months)

I am so Happy I am making lots of $ out of this esp. right "AROUND" xmas time!! just think 2 months ago I was a SAHM dying for something to do and desperately needin more cash and now Im so busy I dont have two minutes (thats after you take out net time of course)

I woke up so happy & excited, but there is so much to do, I had to bring ds into dc. That's when I got depressed. For 2 of his classmates, on their 1st birthday, there was a sign & streamers pronouncing the event, but nothing for my precious one today.

That bummed me out, even though they said Happy Birthday to Corben. So after I left, called DF, cried, then called my mother, I called dc to find out why it was different. Turns out they have bigwigs coming this week (I knew this) so they can't do decorations.

DARN IT! Their holiday parties are tomororw, so if I see decoartions up, I will NOT be happy! I feel a tiny bit better, but I'm still depressed. I don't wanna be, though.

Anyone else experience some down time on the big one? My little boy's not so little anymore.

Today I recieved a bunch of birthday presents in the mail and in amungst them was My favourite one of all time!!!

A BIRTHDAY PRESENT FROM MISS CATHY AND ZACKY MACKY!!!

They got me really cool suit from pumpkin patch (my mummy's fav store by the way) it is a hawaiian print shirt and matching shorts!!!

They are so cool and Im gonna be the trendiest kid on the block now!!!

I cant say a THANKYOU big enough but let me tell you - you sure put a smile back on my mummy's face!!!!

The best one of Jake in amungst a bunch of teddies had to be re-printed due to a mark on the print but for our troubles they threw in a huge wall portrait FRAMED!!! and I mean it is huge like at least 26" x 30"!!!

I love them so much and there is even one of me in it with my new hairstyle!! (sorry Chris no belly shots thou)

ok I just had to tell you all that I have been happier today thanks to you gals and your wonderful words.... so much more infact that I sent my hubby a SMS message over his mobile saying that although he had hurt me really bad I didnt want to fight over it and that I just wanted to put it all behind us.

He reply with a wonderful heartfelt message telling me how very sorry he was and how he really feels bad for the way in which he treat me and he wishes he could do something to make it up to me but he doesnt expect me to forgive him for it.

I told him he can stop feeling guilty what has been done has been done and that we can just get over it now.

I thank you lovely gals for helping me to become a better person today for if it werent for your encouraging words I think I would have remained all mad and UGLY and we may have even spoit xmas due to not being able to get past my own ego. It is amazing how venting on here can make you see whats really important hey!!

So Hubby is out of the dog house (however I am going to buy myself a new dress tonight to wear on xmas day - and the shoes to match and some really fancy underwear to make up for it to myself!!) lets see how big the bunch of flowers he brings home tonight will be - ;0) LOL

Hiya ladies,

I have had the week from hell. Eric has been in and out of the drs. for ear infections (both ears) this week. We took him to after-hours care twice the last 2 nights. Didn't get home until after midnight both nights. He ran a fever for 4 days!!! (partly cuz the first med. they put him on didn't work--his infections are more resistant to antibiotics as he's been on them a lot since Aug./Sept. for the same thing). Since he's taken the shots--all done now--they run 3 days--fever has come down--thank God! Four days was long enough!!! But ears still bad. Dr. is talking about having an ear, nose, throat dr. drain them out and put tubes in. About damned time--he's only had 7 infections since June!!!!

My question to you all are two. Has anyone else had problems with repetitive ear infections in their little ones? And what was done to solve the problem?

We are switching HMOs in January so I hope the new pediatrician group we go to is better than the people at Kaiser Permanente. The new group was recommended to me by a co-worker who has 2 kids and likes the ENT at this place so that's good enough for me.

On another subject: my little guy is a maniac at night. He *hates* to go to sleep early--if I'm lucky he's in bed by 9:30. How have you all managed your kids' bedtimes? Used a routine or just moved the time back gradually from late at night? Once Eric's asleep, he's usually okay the rest of the night--the trick is getting him to go to sleep. He'll sleep on us, but then wake up, and cry when we put him in the crib! (Sometimes, we're lucky and he stays asleep. Depends on how tired he is.)

Lately, because we've had so little sleep due to all the trips to the drs. for Eric, I've just taken to putting him in his room, letting him cry it out, and then he falls asleep (the first time he cried for 1/2 hr. and then crashed, but lately it's run to about 15 mins. to 20 mins.--more manageable to listen to). I feel mean doing this, but Eric *has to* learn how to go to sleep on his own.

Any advice????

I thought that would get your attention. But really I did!
We dated on and off from 5th grade till my freshman year of high school (we lost our virginities to eachother) and my parents made me break up with him and change high schools - big drama!!! Anyway - it worked out for the best because I met DH! SO we have remained friends and have lost touch off and on over the years. He came to me and dh's wedding and then soon after we lost touch and I hadnt spoke to him till tonight. I actually mailed a letter to his moms address that I still had in hopes that she still lived there and she did and passed it on to him. He never even new I was prego last year and I told him all about it in my letter and sent a few pics of me and Avery and gave my phone # and email address. He called tonight and left a message on my answering machine and then I called him back. We talked for about 45 minutes. I guess he's living with an old girlfriend from HS (that I knew)( she has 2 kids by 2 diff. dads - 8 yr old and 4 yr old) I dont really think this is a good relationship for him as he really wants kids of his own but he just moved in with them last month so time will tell. DH has never cared that Ive kept a friendship with him because dh has always thought he was gay - lol!
He is a very sensitive guy but I havent been attracted to him since hs - he was always more of a best friend then a boyfriend - someone to lean on and count on! Im so happy we're talking again - he's gonna try to get over and see us before Christmas. Just had to share!

Cross posting so forgive the repeat...

Katie-Bree had her one year check up yesterday. Her stats were:

Weight - 16lbs. 9oz. (not on charts)
Height - 27 1/4 in. (5th %)
Head - 17.7 in. (unsure)

She got the 3 vaccines in 1 shot thing. We refused the CP shot. The Nurse Practitioner wanted a test for lead which she said would be a finger stick. When we got to the lab, they said it was an actual blood draw not a finger stick, so I refused that, too. The tech said "The dr. wants it". I said "The dr. doesn't make the decisions". Then she said "Well, we will have to cancel the order in the computer and put that you refused it." I told her that was fine and left.

Other than that, the visit was fine. A little frustrating as the NP isn't Bree's usual dr. so she kept trying to go over everything we've been going over for months in regard to her weight. She suggested adding Instant Breakfast to her milk/formula and she also said she wants her off the bottle within the month. I told her dh and I were worried about taking her off the bottle because of her weight and had decided to wait until she is 18lbs. She said she is more concerned about her teeth than her weight. Whatever!

I have an appt in Jan. with her regular dr. and will go over everything with her then.

Hope you don't mind me copying this from bc, but it's just wonderful, specially for those babies born near xmas day
I hope u dont mind me posting here, i dont have a December baby but i was born on Christmas day, and i thought i'd tell some of u that have Christmas babies, what my mom used to do w/me! My mom would put a small (maybe 5ft or so) tree in the living room and decorate w/things i was interested in that year and put a birthday hat at the top. We called it a "birthday tree". We would put all my b-day presents under that tree and christmas under the christmas tree! I will be 20 this year and my mom still does this, even though i dont live at home! Just thought i would share this great idea!

Ill start with the wonderful first - she has mastered the art of standing up from sitting with out pulling up on anything! She just bends at the waist straightens the knees and she's up - we are very proud of her - she just started trying 4 days ago and now she's got it down pat!
Now the weird part - she has been going to bed at 9pm, waking at 9am, taking first nap from 11-12 and then not taking second nap till 6PM!!! I try and try to get her to take one around 4 - but she just cries and cries. If I put her down at 6 she goes right to sleep gets up at 7 and then goes to bed at 9. I think this is just plain strange but hey as long as she lets me sleep in till 9 i guess I cant complain!
Oh by the way party went great on saturday - except Avery was crabby off and on (she was teething - #7 popped out!).
Oh and she puked, vomitted, hurled TWICE today and pooped(pretty runny) 3 TIMES compared to her usual once. Both times she was with dh and it was while they were driving. I had to take her car seat out and spray it off - phewy! She wasnt acting like she didnt feel good so Im hoping it was just a 24 hour bug or something and its gone tomorrow - I stopped giving her milk and just gave her water the rest of the day.
OMG - I just realized its like 4 days until AF is due again! I totally was thinking it was next week so wish me luck she doesnt come. Im sure Ill test the day she's due (21st) because I can never wait!!!!

I know the party's not until Saturday, Cathy, but I had to post this so the on-line girls will know it's Zack's birthday. Plus, I'm NOT singing on Saturday as I have a terrible singing voice so I'm doing it now...early...grin.

For those of you who don't know, Cathy and I went through our pregnancies together. And we live near each other. My husband and her brother have known each other, like forever..same with Cathy, actually... Zack and Eric, my guy, were born 3 weeks apart. Zack was 3 days late and Eric was 3 weeks early so...go figure...

Anyway, Happy Day Zack and Cathy! See you Saturday, depending on how Eric is....

My husband Adam :0(

Today is my birthday and yup you guessed it - He has forgotten :0( He didnt wish me a happy birthday before he went to work - for christs sake I didnt even get a kiss!

What makes it even worst is that Monday was our 2nd Wedding Anniversary and he got up got in the shower etc etc etc and when I said to him happy Anniversary he goes "oh yer - god I havent even written in your card yet!"

He wrote in it gave it to me with the words "to my wife from your husband Adam" scrawled inside and after a quick peck on the cheek (I have had warmer kisses from eskimos!) he goes to work....

Anyway when he came home I was really hurt and upset over it all (he wasnt the only one who forgot mind you my entire family forgot and my mum even visited and saw the cards on the TV cabinet!!) so we argued for the entire night until I locked myself in my room to wrap the xmas gifts whilst bawling my eyes out...

So as you can see today is just the icing on the cake - "I" organized a b/day dinner for myself with my family and Adam and Jake and now it turns out Noone in my family can make it and Adam has forgotten so I dont even wanna go anyway :0(

WHAT A CRAPPY WEEK I HAVE HAD - I THINK IM GIVING UP ON SPECIAL OCCASIONS THEY NEVER MAKE YOU FEEL SPECIAL THEY ALWAYS SEEM TO JUST MAKE ME FEEL CRAP!

Okay, I had a bad afternoon at work this may be on the long side so bear with me. At about 3:45ish this afternoon I got a phone call from a customer who had place a wire order to go to a different city for today and her sister hadn't received it yet and she was off work at 5pm. She told me it was supposed to go out this morning so that her sister could look at it all day while she worked. I told her I had to phone the hoteline to find out what was going on. She started to get snotty with me then telling me that I didn't have time to phone anyone and that i had to find out what was going on now. I told her that I needed to make a few phone calls in order to find out what was going on. She told me to phone back in 10 minutes and I said I'd try but that it might take me a few minutes to get through but I'd try my hardest. So fine, I phone the hotline, got the store # that the order went to and phoned them. They tell me that the order went out but what time it went out they aren't sure but they would try to track it down and get it there before the sister gets off work. Then she tells me how there delivery system works there and my jaw just about hit the floor. Apparently,the deliveries are picked up at 10, 2 and 4. then they are taken to a warehouse and split up according to what part of the city the deliveries are going to. With this system the deliveries could litterally sit there for hours before the cusomer gets their flowers. You know what we do??? We do the orders call the customer to make sure they're home and then call the delivery company. They then deliver the order to the customer. This whole process usually takes an hour from phone call to delivery.I phone the customer back and told her that the order went out and they are trying to track it down so they can get it to her sister. The customer then starts to raise her voice about how if her sister doesn't get the order by the time she leaves work she wants her money back and that it was supposed to be delivered in the morning so that her sister could look at it all day while she's at work. I can understand her wanting her money back if she doesn't get it by the time she leaves work after all I'm a reasonable person. I look at the order and it says nothing about an AM delivery. I nicely tell the customer this. She raises her voice again and tells me that the order was for a BIRTHDAY and that it should be common sense. So I said that we still needed to know that so it would have gotten out earlier and she raises her voice again and tells me again how she is not happy and that she wants her money back and that it should have been there in the morning. By this time I'm starting to get defensive and if I don't get off the phone soon I'm going to loose it on her and loose my job in the process because there is nothing more I can say to her that hasn't been said already without getting myself into trouble. Luckily my department manager is there and she's the one that took the order in the first place and I figured maybe she should have a little chat with this woman. I aked her if she would like to talk to my manager and she said sure so handed the phone to Laura and gave her fair warning that she was starting to yell. Laura takes the phone and tells her that she was the one who took the order and asked her what she could do for her. When Laura got off the phone she said that she told her that if the flowers didn't show up by quitting time she could come and get her money back but if they did, seeing as how she didn't give her a time limit other then before 5 pm she couldn't which is totally reasonable because I guess she had originally told Laura that they needed to be there before 5 and not in the morning. So hopefully they got there because I don't want to have to deal with them tomorrow if they didn't .I work by myself tomorrow and will have enough to deal with without having to deal with this person.
That's the end . Thanks for letting me vent even though it probably sounds totally stupid to some of you. Bless you if you even made it to the end. I feel alot better now.

Doc called to tell me about Valeria's exmas, she has had a lot of diarreah, and it's getting worst, well, it turns out that the virus had an effect on her intestines and she can't tolerate the sugar on the formula or any other dairy product, so we are giving only rice water for almost 2 days starting now, and some medicine, hoping it helps her and we don't have to switch to soy milk ( YUCK! ) they say it tastes horrible, and at 1 year old I think it will be more difficult for her to like it? Well let's hope everything turns out great. She is a little bit more happy now, but she cries a lot wanting us to carry her, let's hope this too passes. :)

and EVERYONE ELSE, what do you think of this? I personally have a very hard time with it.

You know how daycare teachers call themselves "Miss Jessica" or "Mrs. Katherine"? I CAN'T DO IT! I call them Hayley or Heather, their names. Why do they do this? Is it to teach the kids manners?

As far as I'm aware, Chris is the only dc provider on this forum, but I'm interested in anyone's opinion. THANKS!

She's backkkkkkkkkkkk!!! THE TOOTH FAIRY THAT IS....

She thought it would be funny to make another delivery to Jacob right on xmas and he is a miserabe bubba tonight :0(

He keeps wanting cuddles (fine by me-lol) and is holding his mouth and saying owwwwwwwwwww all the time - He is back off of his food (everything BUT the cows milk!!) and is having so much trouble sleeping :0(

It also doesnt help that today was 109.5F here today - so bloody hot - and the wether bureau says we are in for 3 weeks of temperatures over 86F :0(

OH well brings knew meaning to the carol "IM DREAMIN OF A WHITE XMAS!!" I really could handle some of that snow right now

OK Why is it that when it is Adams turn to feed Jake his dinner Jacob miraculously doesnt want it/ wont eat it/ doesnt like the taste of it etc etc etc ?

Every day is the same story Adam its your turn to feed Jake whilst I cook dinner - "yer yer" I get then 10 mintues later "donna he wont eat it" and I have to go in there and make Jake have tea like the bad guy :0(

What kind of diital camera did you get ? The day after Thanksgiving I bought MYSELF my OWN x-mas present then told my DH THANK you for this WONDERFUL GIFT..lol......Anyway I got the Kodak EasyShare cx4300 . I LOVE IT !!!!! I will have to say I was a little worried b/c of the price but my sister told me I'd NEVER find another 3.2MP for that price .......I'm SO GLAD I got it .
Anyway CONGRATS on your early gift :-)

You'll be wondering why it took you SO LONG to get one ....I do now .

They turned out beautiful, I made them myself, I just wish I could show them to you all, but my scanner is missing some ceonections and my digiatl camera is missing the software ( none of this missings are our fault¡ ), but just wanted to share, I made them with picture of her sleeping with some holiday flowers called "noche buenas" or " good nights", in a green paper, and in the inside it says " hope this year is full of good nights" and on the top it has all the things Valeria did, since birth to walking.
Then I made the emvolopes in red. Oh I think they are very nice¡

Do your straps have to be on the top most setting? What about naps for your little ones? Do their heads loll around or are they stable? We travel 2.5 hours to Cleveland often enough that I wonder about the napping thing for a FF carseat (we go Tuesday). Oh, I had them use two noodles for RF b/c of the incline, but IS THERE ANY INCLINE FF?

Ok I thought we would try jake at santa again and let me tell you this kid really dont like the guy much...

He slapped his face then poked him in the eye :0) then santa gives him a lollipop and Jake snatches it out of his hand and wriggles until Santa couldnt hold him anymore and had to put him on the ground :0)

Devon has cut his second tooth. He cut his first only two weeks ago. He has gotten sick both times. I feel so bad for him, he is miserable :( He had just gotten over an ear infection and cold. Then like two days later he was sick again, and I knew he was gonna cut another. Sure enough this morning I checked his mouth and there it was shining bright LOL! I guess its good that he is cutting them close together, get it over with.

Sugestions welcome. I already got CD's and clothes and money for my B-day and my Dh is getting ticked with me because I don't know what I want. I have this problem every year. Part of the problem is having a B-day at the beginning of Dec. and the other problem is I'm usually pretty satisfied with what I already have(if you can call that a problem). HELP!!!!!

I'm up at 3:30 am, Valeria had 4 bm before bed, 3 of those watery, and when she went to bed she vomited everything, even breakfast, I said oh well, she feels lousy, but at 2:00 she was stinky and had diarreah, gave her some milk, went to sleep and vomit again, and then another bm, mostly colored water. She feels lighter, her stomach is sucked in, and she isn't crying, just stays there in my arms. I'm so scared about dehydration, on the morning we will go to the ped immediatly. I feel horrible, all day she was behaving weird and I kept scolding her, poor girl she has a cold plus a stomach virus wich together don't sound that good

I am going to vent, and hope it doesn't offend anyone, but I am just wondering if I am the only one this bothers. I'm not going to use names, but I know some of you will know what I'm talking about. I am posting here because I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings and I don't want to start "board wars".

I heard today about someone who is pg. I was surprised as I knew they are in the process of divorcing and had been hesitant not too long ago about the possibility of starting a relationship with another guy. Well, I immediately thought how awkward that she and her dh are having another baby while in the process of divorce. Come to find out it's not her dh's baby but the guy's who she has just not too long ago started a relationship with. WHAT!?!!?!? Not to offend, but holy cow! You are married to one guy with a child by that guy and in the process, the PROCESS, of divorcing and now pg by some other guy! Why? Why would anyone do that?? Accident? Holy Cow! Use protection! Planned? Why? I just don't get it. I guess I am just pretty conservative about some things and I feel like you don't just run around getting pg by anyone and everyone. Then to see a bunch of people CONGRATULATING this person! I couldn't stand it. What is there to congratulate? Congratulations for bringing an innocent child into your chaotic life. Why can't people get a handle on their lives before bringing children into them?

Anyway...I'm sure I've made a lot of people mad, but I have to know if I am alone in this. Feel free to not answer if you feel you can't. I understand. Also, feel free to bash the h*ll out of me if you think you need to.

Not that this means I have any less work to do - but at least Ill only have Ave and not the other two to look after while Im doing it!
We're having DH's mom side of the familys Christmas party tomorrow so I have a bunch of cleaning to do to get the house ready: sweep, mop , vacuum, windex everything, dust everything, - Hey, is anyone free to come over and help???
lol - I know - In my dreams!!! Well at least I got the guest bathroom all cleaned up (toilet and everything) last night and I also mopped the tile in the front entry way!
Tonight I have to go buy all my share of the food and drinks (with Avery) and finish as much cleaning as I can (while) Avery's sleeping so I dont have a whole lot to do tomorrow. Whew, Im tired just thinking about it!

I have not posted on the topic but I just wanted to let ya'll know I'm SO GLAD that we have a place like this(thanks Cathy). Where you can state what you want to the WAY you want to . And not start some kind of FIGHT! My hats off to everyone . I can say this just makes me PROUD I "tagged along" over here. This is the way I feel a BB should be . Again Congrats for making this the kind of board Cathy wanted us to have :-)
