Subject: LAVA LAMPS NEED TENDER LOVING CARE.

To all you lava lamp lovers: Lava Lamps are colorful cozy creatures that enjoy TLC just like you. They like setting around with you in your parlour, your bedroom and other nice toasty safe spots where they won't get hurt, shaken up or broken to pieces. After a few years with you they depend on you to see that their fluid is replaced if you find they appear to ooz less and less, get filmy and look dull. They do not like cold, freezing rain and snow turns them off. They aren't meant to be too tall, work too hard, live outside all the time or be plagued by bugs and birds. They won't live long under harsh conditions. After hearing about Soap Lake's horrendous oversized giant lava lamp setting in the middle of the street, being expected to work it's guts out twenty four seven, a group of the likes of them got their globs together and decided it was their duty to conduct an intervention to save the Soap Lake giant lava lamp from a hard life ahead. What could they be planning to do? ... Evie Watkins

This has got to be a joke. They want to put this 65 foot giant lava lamp outdoors in blistering heat, blustering rain and snow, expecting it will function properly? This is an insane concept. Do they have anything working upstairs? Moreover, makes you wonder what brings about such a dream state.
