"WHEN WE BUILD IT THEY WILL COME" Just that simple..eh? The history of Lava is not that simple. Manufacturing those 60s icons is actually an exacting process. The water and the wax are composed of 11 secret ingredients mixed in near giant size vats. Then there are those worker bees, those highly skilled and dedicated technicians who careully measure the specific gravity of the various components to the enth degree, ten-thousandth. Course the specific gravities of each batch of water and wax has to be individually matched, or you see the wax will break up into tiny bubbles. I suppose you want yours to crawl up the side of the globe, or just float about an inch above the bottom of the lamp. You see it is custom mix-and-match involved in each batch. That will explain to you why you can't just go out and buy some replacement goo if the fluid in your Giant Soap Lake Lava Lamp poops out, like gets low or if the lava gets sick. You will need to call Dr. Lava. The Soap Lake Giant Lava Lamp Team must of had a sparse idea of lava history. The sudden brain flash may have been real. Yup..they say it will cost $25 MILLION DOLLARS . Gee wonder if Dr. Lava will be here for the unveiling? In-house humor is always a nice touch.

What voice spoke to them when the Giant Lava Team's WA-Cert application was filled out in the name of the City of Soap Lake without authorization by City or right to use the City's name as their private umbrella to pursue funding sources for the lava lamp?

What are you talking about when you say that "the Giant Lava Team's WA-Cert application was filled out in the name of the City of Soap Lake" without authorization by City or right to use the City's name as their private umbrella to pursue funding sources for the lava lamp?

What part of MISREPRESENTATION don't you understand pal? (a) Applicant to WA-CERT was Brent Blake, lava lamp project manager of the Lava Lamp Team. Members of Lava Team, Brent Blake or John Glassgo would be required to first obtain a non-profit status in order to be eligible to apply to WA-CERT. (b) City of Soap Lake was not the Applicant, City did not write an application for funding giant lava lamp nor did City apply to WA-CERT. (c) By a long shot, only talk of the team forming some type of lava lamp foundation would not have been enough to float a state application.
