Press releases are generating by the persons seeking publicity for themselves and their idea. Doubtfull those same persons will be as eager about sending press releases to notify the world that the giant lava lamp has fallen flat on it's tutti-fruitti tush as most reasonable persons expected. As for funding sources, isn't everyone looking for a hand out? I'd build a billion dollar mansion if money came easy. Ideas come easy. If anyone funds the lava lamp I will eat my hat in front of Bill Clinton.

Trust me, millions won't be rolling in for this weird lava lamp plan. The electric guzzler won't work. Won't bring in revenue. Won't bring in people. Will be lucky to pay it's own way and the revenue coming into the city coffers is unlikly to change. The Lava's PUD bill will be enormous.
