 I can't believe it took me this long to figure it out, but I now firmly believe that the Apartment Tapes were the beginning of a concept album.

That's What They Say, What To Do, Learning The Game, That Makes It Tough, and Crying, Waiting, Hoping all share a similar theme -- a young person not knowing how to navigate a relationship.
