Sorry to hear you had to go back up to 15. it seems to be the story of my life too. I have thyroid eye diesase, refresh my memory...do you? I am on 20 right now and feeling horrible, and the depression has been the worst ever. I got my thyroid labs and figured out why.

THYROID STIM HORMONE: 1.21 0.30-5.00
F T4: 2.07* 0.60-1.80
TRIIODOTHYRONINE, TOTAL: 61* 80-200 T3 TOTAL

I emailed Endo requesting T3, and she said:

11/03/2006 08:10 A: Yes I know your T3 was low at 61, but your TSH was low normal at 1.21. I am afraid by adding Cytomel because your TSH will be too low, and cause iatrogenic hyperthyroidism. I will recheck your TSH, free T4, T3 at your next appointment (Nov. 21, 2006 @ 10:45 am). If your T3 is still low and TSH is high normal, I will then consider adding Cytomel. I usually do not use Armore, since the ingradient in Armor is not consistent. You need to see a psychiatrist ASAP if you are so depressed. I'll be glad to refer you to a psychiatrist for depression.

Well, I'll be seeing an Intern Psssych on the 14th! but, really...it's the T3 level and other levels PLUS the Pred making me depressed! I am so discouraged right now.

It's good to hear from you..keep us posted!
Judy
