Hey all u athens people!
I miss u guyz sooo much i think i'm gonna die! i am just itchin for u guyz to come here and see BEAUTIFUL Vancouver! Hey Jess i miss u the most cuz ur the best and i miss ur mom cuz she's super and i miss the snow cuz we never get ne here! and i miss the bus and waiting in the freezing cold morning for the bus! And i miss India cuz she's the only one that i actually met and became friends with on the bus. and i miss the kid on the bus who looked like alf alfa with the cow lick in his hair! I miss everything about Athens. I miss Ms. O the art teacher cuz she wuz so kewl and she drew a pretty picture for us to take home. I even miss Shawna's big TV (u 2 shawna)
When i get my film dveloped i'm gonna send all my pics to jess by mail and then i'll put mine all over my pink walls! Cuz i had sooo much fun and i miss u all!

Oh ya, well I have the Autobahn and really HOTT girls (some aren't as good as the "ole famers daughters" and some are kinda scary, but for the most part they're nice) and NO snow, and Amsterdam (and we all know what's there) and all sorts of other stuff, but we don't have bagged milk (and the guys from Alberta didn't have it when they came), nor do we have cows either (I saw my first cows in like 3 months last week, and they were plastic). And Besides, where are the cows gonna live in BC, can you imagine a big stupid cow living high up in the mountains, that's just an accident waiting to happen...

I've got Buses and Trains and the Autobahn, and really smart homeless guys, they speak German and English (they're smarter than I am), and my school has tiny little 3 ft tall nuns that hide in cubby holes and jump out at you when you do something wrong, or when you're just about to. They are scary! And hmm, I think that's all that's really different, aside from the really scary things that people do, but they're to scary to tell...

Well I have an idea for a new page on the site "Mullet Man" and basically I need you to draw me a wimpy super hero body on the computer and show it to me by next week at band ok? I'm going to super-impose JP's head onto it so don't worry about the head. Now for everyone-I need you to write me some stories as to what "Mullet Man" would do....I'll take some of the best stories and post them on the site....I think you get the basic idea right? J.P.'s haircut is in the Brockville Recorder and Times today, on page 4, along with an article about the exchange. All Athenians wanting a copy might want to pick up a paper today, as the Saturday paper comes out early, so you won't be able to buy them after tonight.
It features an interview with Dylan Bibby - and we laughed at him for wearing shorts... Turns out that move made his famous!
He got a bigger story line than Mrs McKerlich

Great idea Jeremy - I wondered if it would be posted on the web site
For anyone in B.C. (parents in particular, as I'm sure the kids know how to do it) Just right click at the web site address below, and drag your mouse across it - that will highlight it. Then right click on Edit, then on copy, then just paste it into the top of your browser.
Unfortunately, the photo isn't on the web site, but the entire article appears to be.
I'll also see if Amber can also get it on our Exchange web site

Hey Delta! (and Athens) so you are back at home and trying to get back on track. Well I had a hard time remembering what classes I had to go to. I was really tired this morning and I didn't want to wake up.
There is no more snow!!!!!!!! I think that Delta had made Athens have bad weather so that we would have to freeze and that Delta would learn about how cold it can get in Ontario. You forgot your your snow Delta! It was sitting in the music room and we relized you forgot it!
Well I guess I'll c ya in a month.

you guys back there in Canada must have gotten a lot of snow, like an overflow, cause it think it's found it's way here, it was almost a white out coming home from Hamburg this afternoon. It was odd, my first snow in 2 months, I think everone in Hamburg thinks we Canadians are nuts, I was running around in a T shirt in the snow, just cause I could....

well tschuss, I should sleep now, we left for Hamburg at 2 this morning to see some fish market, and I only got about 3hrs of sleep cause my host "sister" left for France last night...
Anywho, hope you guys have fun regerdless of the snow, but hey, I guess that's just part of the culture diff, Ontario gets snow, BC doesn't

Just so you know, B.C. DOES get snow -- up on the mountain-tops where it belongs (and occasionally down at our level too!!) That's kind of freaky that you got snow in Germany at the same time.....

Good news - I received this info from Jp:

I've been following the progress of flight 532 on the "flightview" website. It was diverted in air away from the closed Hamilton airport.
The excellent news for us is that it was diverted to Ottawa, the final destination! Bonus!

It's now listed as landed in Ottawa.

As far as I can tell flight 521 out of Hamilton to Ottawa has been cancelled for today, in fact, all flights from Hamilton to Ottawa have been cancelled for today. I don't know what that will mean as far as alternate travel plans, but just wanted to let everyone know.

yes hockey sucks and rugby rocks! i'm glad every one is now talking about snow. i hate snow. it's evil. and i want it to go away. last week i was wearing shorts and a tank top but now i'm wearing stupid long sleeves and pants. delta comes tonight and they are going to be very tired and hungry. but i have tonnes of food at home for my twin. so he hopefully won't be hungry after long.

It is very true we are getting snow again and lots of it:(
oh well make sure you bring warm clothing. we are suppose to have about 20 centimeters of snow by tomorrow night. You'll get to see what an ontario winter is like even though technically it is now spring guess the weather man didn't hear that. oh ya want to know something else i believe that on saturday night we have to move our clocks forward which meens 1 hour less of sleep and for you bc it will be like 4 because your 3 hours behind us as it is. at least i think thats the way it works. oh well you will still have lots of fun!!! i cant wait to meet y'all. anywho toodles for now or at least until tomorrow!!!!!!!

Sorry Delta, it snowed here again today.
What's worse, is it actually amounted to something, and, they're also calling for 3-5 centimetre's more, between now and Friday. We're back to minus temperatures during the day, and when I got off work tonight, I had to sweep the snow off my vehicle, and then scrape the ice off my windshield.
The long term forcast is calling for snow the day you arrive.
Who would have thought...

Hi Everyone,

Good to hear that everyone is excited about Delta coming to Athens in like 5 days. Hope it's a blast...
Germany is cool, thus far I've been to Amsterdam (Holland), Berlin, and around the area, this weekend we're going to Hamburg..... we'll to everone in Athens I guess I'll see you in 35 sleeps, or atleast that's when I'll be back in Canada, maybe not school...... and I guess I'll see Delta in about a month....

I hate the Sens! The Canucks are the Best!" Or the like. Although I don't have another subject that I'd like to talk about but please anything but SPORTS! Oh and the American/Iraqi war because that is way over talked about too. So how about we think of something other than Sports and War. Okay? Okay.

OK, I think I've said this a few times before, but RUGBY RULES!!!!! Rugby Players (Props and espically Flankers like me) could mop the floor with people from ANY other sport cause we're HUGE, well all of us exept Kaner, but she's tougher than nails with sandpaper on em. Sorry but it had to be said sometime or another. And besides, Rugby is faster, more attention grabbing, more so when the girls are going at it, and believe it or not fewer people are injured playing rugby than almost any other sport around, so on behalf of the Rugby players out there, I'd like to say this, WARRIORS RUGBY RULES, and GO RUGBY GO!!!!

then comes hockey where the leafs rule, then all of the other canadian teams....

I also really like the Senators jersies and they're a great team this year. Toronto, although coached by our old favourite, are a bit thuggish at times. You can't egg my car cuz I'll be without it in Ontario, so I'm being brave with my opinions.

School busses? Don't tell me you guys don't heve em either. The people here are just amazed by the fact that we have buses just for school, it's almost funny sometimes. Then again like here, you probably have a real transit system, with real busses and trains and subways and stuff.

Yes, I have it on good authority -- he DOES exist -- I will have Jason pass your note on to him -- he has moved on to the senior secondary school, but is still a part of the Jazz band at Sands.

While I'll admit, it is getting frustrating, we could have done without the "get his butt in front of a computer" - my apologies for the child in Germany. Obviously the German air is affecting his manners
