hey adam! this is geoff in athens. wuts up with this no snow deal in germany? there should be lots of snow in germany, cuz its like rite beside switzerland or sumthing isnt it?

p.s. what does Tschuss mean?

Tschuss is a shorter way of saying aufwiedersehen or goodbye. Like in english were we say bye instead of goodbye they say tschuss instead of aufwiedersehen (unless you're trying to be really polite/formal). The elevation in Switzerland is a lot different from Germany since the Alps are a large part of the country, so they get a lot more snow. I'm not sure how much germany got this year but apparently it's more than normal, over in BC we haven't gotten any on ground level.

There is NO snow here, it's been above +5 here the whole time I've been here, but I hear you guys have tonnes...
Tschuss means bye, and guten tag means hello

There is snow in Germany, but it's near Switzerland, and in the south, like Frankfurt (where I flew in) but I'm up near Hannover and Dusseldorf, and far east of Berlin, near The netherlands, like we're only 3 hrs from Amsterdam and Berlin in the other direction, so I'm in the north west rhineland where there's no snow....
