They block out any possibility of another team being just as good or better than the leafs. Every time someone tries to discuss the way other teams in the league are faring, the fans just change the subject back to the leafs. finding a leaf fan who is able to dicuss all the teams in the league dip;omatically and rationally is as rare as finding a talking dog. Personally, I root for any canaidian team who isn't toronto. the leafs have a big fan base already and, quite frankly, are a dirty team. They are scrappy, arrogant, foul-mouthed players. I blame not only the players for this constant display of poor sportsmanship, but Pat Quinn. He was the same as the leafs when he was a player, and vancouver was the same way when he coached them; it was hard to watch. For anyone outside Ontario, isn't part of Canada. That's how disgusted they are with the whole team. Remember guys: there are other canadian teams you can root for. Montreal(unfortunately, struggling at the moment), Edmonton(surviving), Calgary(also having troubles), and Vancouver(doing marvolous).
