Only NCIS character I liked was Mark Harmon. Whole thing struck me as way too much like CSI anyway, doubt I'll watch NCIS. Was really annoyed at the lack of Mac but why break they're 5 minute Mac rule now? What really got me was Harm. Isn't Harm always the one preaching to people that if you tell the truth, investigations will work themselves out and all that jazz? But he is the first one to get cagey and evasive because it might involve his brother. Did he really think they wouldn't find out about Sergei with a little investigating? I thought he was supposed to be the best lawyer at JAG! Truthfully, I wish they would just write Sergei off the show. Never have liked the character. And when are they going to give Harm his brain back?

The one thing I never liked was killing Singer while she was pregnant. I had originially hoped (before spoilers) that she would have already given birth and just given it up or something. As much as I wanted the character gone, that was way to morbid for my taste. I'm going to stop now.

- I just thought of something. THAT could have given Harm a motive - say she gave birth then he killed Singer to keep her away from his precious niece. A lot better than the boloney they're trying to feed us. (NT) -- Tracy, 12:39:39 04/23/03 Wed
  - I disagree with the allowing Singer to give birth before her death angle. Not that I *ever* want to see a child harmed/killed, but this angle for JAG doesn't work for me. Whose going to raise Singer's kid? Harm? He's still convinced its Sergei's, & with Sergei being in Russia, well sorry, I don't want to see JAG with Harmon Rabb raising a child. I know death isn't a good option, but with the Singer mess that TPTB created, this was actually the best way (& I don't mean best as in good mind you) to end the story arc (inside) -- JNTS, 13:00:21 04/23/03 Wed
    - God, I don't want to see Harm raising Singer's baby either (not when we have the, uhem, hope of the baby promise next season), but motive-wise, I think it would have worked out better. But overall, I agree that TPTB should never have gone the route of writing NC's pregnancy in if this is the result.       - Oh I agree with that statement, that the Peterson case really did make this ep stand out more shall we say? Its just horrible what happened to that poor woman & her baby boy, & it is a shame again that TPTB decided to go this route. It would've made no difference to me in the story arc *if* Singer hadn't of been pregnant. I mean let's face it, Singer had enough enemies IMHO on her own, you didn't need to make her pregnant, but again thats the arc DB chose (so NC could remain at JAG for a while) & I just think it would've been better if Singer hadn't of been pregnant.
