Stacy - I am missing both my laterals. I'm 28 and have had my bottom braces for 2 months. Tops will go on in a couple months. My ortho is pulling my canines back to where they belong and then I will get bridges put in. (can't afford implants) At first my ortho suggested pulling my canines into the lateral position but then after my panorex said that wouldn't be a good thing to do since it will significantly change my bite which would change the look of my mouth and make it look sunk in. (don't what that!) But I also have very small lips and he said if my lips were fuller then we could have done that. Make sure to ask check with your ortho so you don't have that problem. Good Luck with everything!!
