Hi Stacy
I have both laterals missing and had the canines puched forward and veneered to make them look more like laterals. This wasn't done too well and my central front teeth had also been crowned so the look wasnt natural. After weighing up the space and shape etc. my ortho recommended that I get the laterals moved forward and close all the gaps rather than opening up the gaps and putting in implants. I have about 9 months to go but already it all looks so much better and the canines can look quite good in the position of the laterals if done well and all the other factors have been considered.

I am pleased with my decision and I had several opinions to say that it would have been incredibly hard to push the canines back not to mention the expense, so for me it seems like the right decision.

Good luck!
xx Josie
