I've had mine for 6 weeks now and I still can't eat "normally" -- someone mentioned eating a Subway sandwich, and there's no way I could do that even now. I have trouble chewing things with a crunchy texture, or biting into things.

On the other hand, I'm not living on soup and jello -- I eat normal foods, I just don't eat them normally -- meaning it takes me longer to chew, or I have to cut things into pieces. Haven't lost any weight, either -- dangit!
