 I wouldn't be suprised at the ad. For the most part I assume no kid wants metal braces and still seen as geeky and not cool. There's a reason why more and more people are getting their braces air-brushed out of yearbook photos.

Let's face it although the perception of braces has improved the majority of people whether given the choice of having braces or not would choose not to have braces (assuming their teeth were already/or nearly straight).
