Subject: Second Day in Braces Author: Christina [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 21:15:55 06/30/04 Wed Well, it wasn't as bad as I thought getting them on and the first night...so far all I can complain about is not being able to chew anything..OUCH! How long can I expect my teeth to be this tender? I'm surprized that I don't need any wax yet, they are pretty comfortable..am I just wishful thinking that I perhaps won't need it? When does the need for wax begin? I do have a problem with the brackets on my incisors that have the hook for elastics, they get caught on my inside lip and it looks like I'm snarling at people..HA-HA! What fun this is!!
