I had never used a water pik before getting my braces 6 weeks ago -- now I can't imagine *not* using one, even when I get these babies off.

The funny thing is, I started out at the lowest setting and found that a little, um, vigorous -- and now I've moved up it up a few notches. Probably very good for my gum health.

Mine has a "pause" button, which is very helpful -- it helps me avoid spraying the whole room.
