I think I'm the only other person here with this appliance.

Start reading aloud. Read tons. Speak tons. You need to relearn how to speak.

Don't expect your slurring to ever completely go away. It may not. I don't think mine has. I still slur sometimes. It's not nearly as noticeable as it was at first. I also have an elastic in front that is contributing to my slurring, but it will defintiely get better.

The first couple weeks are rather miserable. My slurring was pretty bad for about two weeks before it started to subside, but I don't speak very much. Force yourself to speak!
