ok, so I saw my orthodontist today after he got a look at my x-rays. I already knew going in that I will have the tooth behind each of my canines extracted due to crowding. What shocked me was that he told me that i should also extract my wisdom teeth, and so I will be extracting a total of 8 teeth. Is this normal? painful? necessary? From what he told me, its my bottom two wisdom teeth that may present a problem in the future, he didnt' mention my top wisdom teeth... Has anyone else been through a similar situation?
