Keep your teeth apart when not eating, relax the jaw muscles whenever you think about it. My ortho told me that my TMJ pain could come and go, no guarantees during ortho treatment. I think the fact that I'm not chewing anything difficult because of the teeth soreness that I am also not having the jaw pain.
