Some teeth are painful to floss, but I try to just suck it up and floss very slowly. I have noticed, though, that some of my molars are closer together now and I can't hardly even floss between them anymore. I guess things are already moving! The assistant at the ortho's office told me that I should be ok if I only flossed 2 or 3 times a week. Maybe in a few days it will be more tolerable for you. I certainly hope so.
